     Asbury Albert Moore Check this out: Asbury/Asberry Albert Moore (5352), son of Nimrod Moore/Jane Vaughan, married Catherine HILL, daughter of Robert Hill. She was the widow of Jonathan Dowling. Maiden name of Hill should show. Wesley Moore married Achsah "Accey" Dowling (yeah, I know it got clobbered in the records!). Believe Jonathan was her brother. Jonathan appears as Major on 1850 census - don't know whether it was part of his name or a title he went by.(I didn't include it as part of his name).³ He ended military service at Civil War 173rd Ohio.¹ He was born circa 1835.² He was the son of Nimrod Moore.^1,2 Asbury Albert Moore married Mary Horton after 1880 at 2nd wife.^4,5 Asbury Albert Moore died on 27 November 1919 at National Military Home, Dayton, OH.¹

     John Michael Joyce "Seven-up" Bottling Company
President
John M. Joyce left elementary school before completing the eighth grade so that he could help support his family. He worked as a messenger boy for the Pennsylvania Railroad, was a grocery salesman in Kansas City, and later became manager of a chain store company. He wanted his own business, however, and drew on his savings and borrowed money so that he could pioneer a new beverage called "Seven-Up." He became a traveling salesman, spreading the word of this new beverage until it became a household word. He was cofounder of the "Seven-Up" Bottling Company of Chicago. A highly religious man, Mr. Joyce received the highest honors the Pope can bestow, Knight of Malta.²
