Sloan Immigrants around the 1830s
...looking for John Sloan of Ireland, husband of Nancy Agnes Daugherty. He supposedly immigrated about 1833 and settled in Pittsburgh.

Only males are listed by name in the passenger list, with a description of who was with them.
John Sloane from Ireland came alone. In Occupation column is "Mr. John Bull". Two interesting notes: Passenger Archibald MacBeath, from Britain, shows "Mr. Sloane" in occupation column. And for John Sloane the note: "on original list it states he was sent back to New York".
